General Terms and Conditions (Online Shop)

These General Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed via our online shop at www.nouinoui.com.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the terms outlined here govern the relationship between NOUI NOUI and you, the customer.

This website is operated by NOUI NOUI. Throughout the site, the terms "we", "us", and "our" refer to NOUI NOUI. By visiting our website or making a purchase, you engage in our "Service" and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions — including any additional terms, conditions, and policies referenced herein or linked via hyperlink.

These Terms apply to all users of the site, including but not limited to visitors, customers, vendors, and content contributors. Please read them carefully before using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use this website or any of its services.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. It is your responsibility to check this page regularly. Continued use of the website following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

Shipping Information

Your order will be shipped with DHL. Unless otherwise arranged, goods are dispatched from our warehouse to the address you provide during checkout. We deliver worldwide and aim to process all orders on the same day.

Estimated Delivery Times:

  • Germany: 1–3 working days

  • Europe: 3–5 working days

If you have not received your order, please contact us so we can investigate the shipment with DHL.

Placing an Order

Orders can only be placed through our website. All prices include VAT (where applicable) but exclude shipping costs. Ownership of the goods remains with NOUI NOUI until payment is received in full.

After placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation via email. This confirmation does not yet constitute a binding acceptance of your offer. A purchase contract only becomes valid once the goods are shipped. For advance payment, the order will be dispatched after receipt of full payment.

NOUI NOUI reserves the right to reject any order — particularly in cases of suspected commercial resale.

Changes to Our Services and Prices

Product prices may change without notice. We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue any part of our service or website without liability.

Return & Refund Policy

You can return items within 30 days of receiving them. The return applies only to unused, non-faulty items in original condition with all tags attached.

To return an item:
You are responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend keeping the original packaging for return use. Include a copy of your order confirmation and send the parcel to:

Once received, we will confirm and process your refund to the original payment method.

For orders delivered to Switzerland, contracts are concluded with MeinEinkauf AG, which also handles customs and invoicing. This service is included in your total purchase price — no extra fees will apply.

Exchanges

We offer free exchanges for items in the same product category and value (e.g., one mat design for another).

To exchange a product:

  1. Email us at hello@nouinoui.com with your exchange request.

  2. We’ll send you a prepaid DHL return label.

  3. Print the label and drop off the parcel at a DHL branch.

  4. We’ll send your replacement product once we receive the returned item.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel your purchase within 14 days without providing a reason. The cancellation period begins the day you or someone you designate (excluding the courier) receives the goods.

To cancel your order:
Email us at service@nouinoui.com with a clear statement that you wish to cancel. You must cover return shipping costs.

To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send your notice before the 14 days expire.

Cancellation Exceptions

Customized or personalized items are not eligible for cancellation.

Refunds

We will refund all payments within 14 days of receiving your cancellation notice or returned goods — whichever comes first. Refunds are issued using the same payment method as the original transaction.

If you have a complaint, please contact us — we’re committed to resolving issues directly with our customers.

Transport Damages

If your delivery is visibly damaged, please report it immediately to the courier and notify us as well. Your legal rights remain unaffected, but it helps us process claims with the courier.

Warranty

Your warranty rights are based on applicable law. Any damage claims related to product defects are governed by our liability section below.

Liability

We assume full liability for:

  • Intentional or gross negligence

  • Damages under the Product Liability Act

  • Injury to life, body, or health due to negligence

For minor negligence, we’re only liable for breaches of essential contractual obligations ("cardinal duties"), limited to foreseeable damage.

Governing Law & Final Provisions

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Danish law, excluding the provisions of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

In the event of a dispute, we always encourage our customers to reach out to us first so we can find a solution together. If no agreement can be reached, the dispute may be brought before the Danish courts, with the City Court of Copenhagen (Københavns Byret) as the agreed venue, unless otherwise provided by mandatory law.
